In Memoriam
1944 – 2020
Alice Rose George, known to friends as Pi, worked as a photography editor, curator, consultant, educator, and publisher of books, magazines, and special projects.
Many considered her to be “a photographer’s dream editor.”
She was also a poet and played the piano. Raised in Mississippi, she thrived in her adopted homes of New York and Los Angeles, sustained by her Southern roots.
